YOUNGSTOWN — Three local organizations have partnered with Humility Of Mary Health Partners to promote Stepping Out — a minority diabetic prevention program.

Registration is at 11 a.m. Saturday at McGuffey Centre, 1649 Jacobs Road. Organizations supporting the program are Associated Neighborhood Centers, Organizacion Civica y Cultural Hispana Americana and United Methodist Community Center.

Stepping Out is a project funded by the Ohio Commission on Minority Health.

The program includes line dancing; free aerobics; pilates with certified personal trainer Doris Bullock; exercise tape; health assessment; glucose and cholesterol test; and free weekly drawings of $25 gift certificates for those who participate in 150 minutes of physical activities per week such as walking, dancing, aerobics, basketball, swimming and bike riding.
