Unmarried woman says Ohio clinic refused to help her get pregnant

DAYTON, Ohio (AP) — An Ohio woman has been complaining to various officials because she says a hospital facility refused to help her get pregnant because she’s not married.
Karri O’Reilly acknowledges that Kettering Reproductive Medicine outside Dayton has religious ties, but she says it should not have turned her away because its parent organization also accepts taxpayer funds.
Kettering Health Network, which is affiliated with the Seventh-day Adventist Church, has released a statement saying it’s now reviewing its policies.
Forty-year-old O’Reilly says when she called the clinic to make an appointment for in vitro fertilization she was asked about her husband, and when she said she didn’t have one she was told Kettering couldn’t treat her.

This was her only option of facilites to receive such treatment? I think there's always going to be a moment to pause when a single woman wishes to have a child this way. It's not easy raising a child when your single in todays world.
There are far too many children being raised by one parent .
If she can afford a fertility clinic she can certainly afford to raise a child on her own. A single parent can adopt a child- they shouldnt be denied infertility treatment either.
