Another reason for reform
EDITOR:
Within the last two months, numerous articles in The Vindicator have covered health care reform, the difficult economy and the overall impact on family planning.
According to reports, Ohio ranks 48th in access to contraception (9/22/09) and half of all births in Ohio are unintended (9/23/09). Another report claims the economic downturn also brings a slump in births (10/18/09) yet this report sites other state data, not Ohio. I wonder what Ohio might expect to see, given our status. Isn’t it only reasonable that families have greater access to birth control when they can least afford to feed, clothe and shelter another child?
Real reform will include women’s health care and will give families the ability to sustain themselves. I urge everyone to support health care reform and our representative Tim Ryan as he votes to support real reform on behalf of his constituents who urgently need increased access to all health care.

- By the term contraception you mean abortion right!
The last time I checked you can find condoms in just about any convience store, drug store or bar. That would place about 95% of ohio's population within one quarter of a mile to the nearest condom i.e." contraception"
I think what you are trying to say but don't have the GUTS to say it is that you want the tax payers to puy for the abortions for those that are irresponsible and don't want to pay a dollar for safe sex when it is much easier for the tax payers to pay a thousand dollars so you can have your abortions at tax payers expense.
it is not the duty of the tax payers to correct the idiocy of others
sorry I ment convenience store I dont know what happened to the "en" it must be lost just like those condoms that cause us to be ranked at 48 out of 50.
