Police investigating two shot on city's East Side

YOUNGSTOWN — Police have more questions than answers after two people walked into an emergency room seeking treatment for gunshot wounds.

According to police, A 20-year-old Youngstown woman and a 25-year-old Boardman man drove into the St. Elizabeth Health Center parking lot at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in a black Chevrolet Impala. Officers confiscated the car for investigation.

The man told police that he and the woman were driving in the area of Stewart Street and McGuffey Road on the East Side when a dark blue Tahoe drove up along side their car and started shooting into the vehicle. The man could not provide any information on the shooters.

The man was shot four times along his back, upper left arm and leg. The woman had been shot once in the back.

They were shot in the BACK, while sitting in their car, by someone in another vehicle, that had pulled ALONGSIDE, and was shooting into their car???? Doesn't take a degree in forensics to figure out this story is full of holes.................

Yet another unbelievable story.

Isn't Plaza View Court right there? Isn't Plaza View Court a housing project? Sure looks like one.

If you go to Google Maps and do the street view where you see actual photos recorded previously of the area and you go to Plaza View Court you will notice a vehicle exiting Plaza View that matches the description of the vehicle in this incident :)

Yeah those maps are several years old, however rather ironic to see same vehicle description exiting obviously a housing project within rock throw distance of this incident.

Youngstown needs to do something about these hot spots, drug trade and the no-snitching ghetto culture.
