Applebee’s to honor vets with free meals on Nov. 11

LENEXA, Kan. — Applebee’s is saying thank you to the nation’s veterans and active duty military by inviting them for a free entr e on Veterans Day, Nov. 11.

Military personnel will be able to choose an entr e from six menu favorites. Guests will be asked to show proof of service, which includes: U.S. Uniform Services Identification Card, U.S. Uniform Services Retired Identification Card, current Leave and Earnings statement, a veterans organization card, wearing uniform or photograph in uniform.
