Police seek men who tried to abduct South Side woman

YOUNGSTOWN — Police are looking for two men who tried to abduct a 51-year-old woman from the front yard of her Erie Street home.
According to police, the woman was taking out the trash just after 11 p.m. Tuesday when a man grabbed her from behind and tried to force her back toward her home. Another man stood a short distance away appearing to be a lookout, reports said.
The woman told police the man who grabbed her dropped a gun. She called out for her husband who came outside upon hearing the commotion. The two men, after one picked up the gun, eventually ran off to Midlothian Boulevard and then toward Market Street.

I'd like to see any future articles read: husband came out of house as men ATTEMPTED to flee, but due to accurate and effective fire prevented the from making it very far. I'm sick of feeling under siege in this city.
