Published: Fri, May 15, 2009 @ 1:50 p.m.

NEW MIDDLETOWN— New Middletown police arrested a Springfield Township man after they received a call from an apartment tenant reporting a person had entered her apartment. Chief Vincent D’Egidio said the tenant returned about 10 p.m. Thursday to her Sandy Court apartment and saw from outside the apartment that her lights and television were on and called the police. Responding officers found Nino Carosella in the apartment. Carosella was placed in county jail and was arraigned today in Struthers Municipal Court on charges of burglary, drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $8,500. Poland and Boardman police assisted with the arrest, D’Egidio said

"His bond was set at $8,500."

Very low bond for invading another persons appartment. This new fad may catch on in a big way. No security deposit, no rent and already furnished. The next time he may dispose of the occupant and then occupy the appartment. The drugs weren't allowing him to think straight.
