Trumbull Planning Commission applies for stimulus money for sewer projects

Published: Tue, May 12, 2009 @ 1:45 p.m.

WARREN — The Trumbull Planning Commission has applied for federal stimulus money to fund sanitary sewer projects in Brookfield, Howland and Weathersfield townships.

The three projects are on Bedford Road in Brookfield for $236,647, in the Bolindale area of Howland for $134,873, and on Gilbert Street in Weathersfield for $295,573.

All three projects were approved by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency for zero percent loans through the OEPA’s Water Pollution Control Loan Fund, but the agency recommended the commission also apply for stimulus money, said Bill Miller, commission director.
