Writer isn’t a happy rider
EDITOR:
On April 30, I had to ride the WRTA buses. Never again, if I can help it.
The bus in the morning had a driver that was so slow I wondered how he keeps his license.
The bus at 3:10 had a driver who could not stay off her cell phone. From the WRTA station all the way out Market till I got off the bus in Boardman.
The seats are hard plastic, no shocks, little air.
Is this what I voted for back in November? If I had known this I would NOT have voted for WRTA.

They're either too fast or too slow. Oh, and they like to run red lights, too. I know this from experience.
Why do people complain about everything!!! We do have a choice today.Maybe your complaining got you riding the bus.Walk from now on.I rode the bus for years before I started back driving,You have to make the best of every situation. From experience it's the head people thats #*#*#* up!So you think the drivers care? Walk,Walk,WALK!!!!!
I'll start walking when it's safer to.
As much fuel as a bus uses and as few riders that they have it may be more cost efficent to run more comfortable and agile vans or mini busses.
By the way, you don't see YPD walking the beat anymore so what chance would an unarmed individual have?
Stan, If the dirtbags want to rob you they would do it at the bus stop also. A Concealed Weapons permit is not that expensive to obtain. If they want to rob me they will have a surprise in store. Ohio abides by the "Castle" doctrine which puts the proof of intent on the dirtbag.
