NORTH LIMA — Beaver Township police found an elderly woman tied to a chair in a detached garage on Western Reserve Road.
Boardman police who assisted said that late Friday afternoon, a relative called in to Beaver to report the woman tied to the chair.
The red brick and wooden garage is at the Hitchcock Road intersection with Western Reserve Road.
When police found the woman, she told them that a male relative had tied her, Boardman police said. The woman was taken to a hospital for observation.
Beaver Township Detective Eric Dattilo said the case is a domestic issue under investigation. No arrests have been made.

I don't understand how this is considered a "domestic." This is abuse and inhumane treatment of an elder and whomever did this should be put away for a very long time........

It is just the way the case falls under the law. The penalty is greater if the victim is a child or an elderly person. I just hope there is no plea.
they should get the person who did this and tie them to a chair for 5 weeks straight, and only feed them bread and water. if they are lucky.
