Fire destroys Springfield Township home

SPRINGFIELD — Firefighters from Springfield, Beaver, New Middletown and the Western Reserve Joint Fire District responded to a Friday afternoon blaze that destroyed an East South Range Road home.

No one was injured but the American Red Cross Mahoning Chapter Disaster Action Team responded to offer food, clothing and shelter.

No information was available Friday evening about the cause or damage.
