Panezich 25th anniversary celebrated at location of their original honeymoon

AUSTINTOWN — Mr. and Mrs. Frank Panezich, 5520 London Drive, celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary during a three-day weekend, May 31-June 2, at Ocean City, Md., where they honeymooned following their June 2, 1984, wedding in Boardman Township Park.

Mrs. Panezich, the former Rose Mazar, is employed as a retail sales associate with Wal-mart in Austintown.

Mr. Panezich served a tour of duty from 1965 to 1969 with the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He retired in 1986 as an electrician from LTV Steel in Warren.

The couple, the parents of Frank Panezich Jr. of Hubbard and Cliff Panezich of Austintown, have four grandchildren and are members of St. Joseph Church.
