McDougal children host party to mark 50th anniversary

NORTH JACKSON — Mr. and Mrs. Wayne McDougal, 2464 Gault Road, celebrated the 50th anniversary of their wedding with family and friends from 2 to 4 p.m. June 6 during a party at Jackson Township Administration Building.

Invitations for the festivity were extended by their children, Michael (Grace) McDougal and Brenda McDougal, all of North Jackson; Terri McDougal of Charleston, W.Va., and Kerry (John) Rafferty of Wellston.

The former Lucille Davis and Mr. McDougal were united in marriage on June 6, 1959, at First Federated Church. They are members of Lordstown Christian Church.

Mrs. McDougal, a homemaker, is a member of Jackson Township Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary.

Mr. McDougal retired in 1999 as a machinist with Wean Industries in Austintown and is the fire chief of Jackson Township Volunteer Fire Department.
