SALEM, N.J. (AP) — A man who allegedly wanted to buy some marijuana was arrested after he mistakenly sent a text message to a southern New Jersey police officer.
Salem Police Cpl. Christopher Pew was off-duty when he received the message on his personal cell phone this week.
Since he did not know the person who sent the text or whether it was a serious request, Pew agreed to meet the texter at a local shopping center, and the person described what vehicle he would be driving.
That eventually led to the arrests of two Pennsville residents, who were charged with loitering to commit a controlled dangerous substance offense.

You just can't fix stupid!
A couple of our Youngstown crackheads must have been visiting family in Pennsville.
LOL @ Stan! Too true!
And again...why is this news here?
I happen to think this is a funny story about stupid criminals. They were probably smoking more than they were selling.
How true.
It's not news...and the Vindicator is no longer a newspaper.
WilliamP, it's hard for a newspaper to be relevant when the area that it covers is not relevant itself.
