YOUNGSTOWN — David Lee Stack and Gloria Rose Purton were married at 2 p.m. Oct. 25, 2008, by the Rev. Nicholas Mancini at St. Stephen of Hungary Church.
After a reception at The Links at Firestone Farms in Columbiana, they left for a honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas.
The daughter of Patrick and Mary Rose Purton, 598 W. Wilson St., Struthers, and the son of Barbara Stack of 238 Parkgate Ave., Austintown, and the late Howard Stack, live at 299 Jade Circle, Canfield.
The bride wore a strapless ivory satin gown that featured pickups and a cathedral train.
Mocha gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Julie Detchon, and the bridesmaids, Renee Purton, Kaitlyn Fabian, Jody McGraw, Christine Wentz and Allison Giannini. Junior bridesmaid was Tara Detchon, and flower girl was Emma Purton.
Phil Simone was best man, and groomsmen were Patrick Purton, Julian Krusely, Joseph Risi, Steven Higgins and Mike Roby. Junior groomsman was Nicholas Risi, and ring bearer was Jackson Detchon.
The bride a graduate of Bowling Green State University and Kent State University, will attend the University of Akron School of Law in August.
The groom earned a bachelor’s in accounting from Youngstown State University and a master’s in taxation from the University of Akron. He is an accountant with the Muransky Co. in Boardman.
