Hosta program planned at agricultural center

CORTLAND — A two-hour program, “Hosta, a Special Plant for the Garden, Matched with Companions and Containers with Flair,” will be presented June 18 at the Trumbull County Agricultural and Family Education Center, 520 W. Main St., by Barry Kridler, owner of Kridler Gardens, Homeworth. Local master gardener Carol Knock will assist.

Sign-ins begin at 9:30 a.m., and the program will run from 10 a.m. to noon. The event is open to the public. Register by calling (330) 638-6783. Cost for this workshop is $10.
