YOUNGSTOWN — Mahoning County Probate Judge Mark Belinky has filed today a complaint in mandamus with the Seventh District Court of Appeals asking the Court to order county officials to “sufficiently fund “probate court operations for calendar year 2009. Judge Belinky previously ordered the county to allocate $915,000.00. However, the county only allocated $690,000.00.

Belinky needs to learn to make due with what he's got just like the rest of us do.
Trim the fat! If you don't know how I'll be happy to suggest cuts (for a price of course)
MAYBE BELINKY SHOULD SPEND SOME OF HIS OWN MONEY TO GET THE COURT HE WANTS. HEAVEN KNOW AVERAGE FOLKS CAN'T SUE TO UPGRADE THEIR OFFICES OR PLACE TO WORK...MAYBE BELINKY SHOULD RESIGN HIS POST HERE AND SEEK OFFICE IN A MORE OPULENT DISTRICT. LORD KNOWS IF HE COULD EVER GET ELECTED ELSWHERE, ESPECIALLY WHERE HIS DADDIES NAME ISN'T AS WELL KNOWN AS IT IS HERE. QUITE WASTING OUR TIME AND MONEY ON THIS FRIVOLOUS LAW SUIT MARK! AND GET TO WORK WITH WHAT YOU GOT!!!!!!
IMO, what he lacks in rugged good looks he more than makes up for in the brain department. I say more power to him. The fact that he's using all of the available tools to him to get what he thinks his court needs is at the very least a sign of intelligence. Put down your pitchforks for a minute and realize he may not be using this money to upgrade the private jacuzzi in his chambers.
It doesn't really matter what Mark thinks his department should get. The truth is county revenues are down significantly and ALL departments should cut. It's just a good thing Mark just got elected because with this action, he'd not get elected this year.
