WAVERLY, Ohio (AP) — Three people have been charged with felony child endangering for failing to prevent a 6-week-old Ohio girl from being bitten by rats.
Pike County Prosecutor Rob Junk says 18-year-old Todd Trent and 33-year-old Joseph Gunter and his wife, 29-year-old Tina Gunter, were in court for an initial hearing today, and a judge set bond at $210,000 each. All three are in the Ross County jail pending a plea hearing in two weeks.
Junk says Trent is the boyfriend of the baby’s mother, who is a juvenile. He declined to identify her or say if she would be charged. He says all four shared a cluttered mobile home.
The baby is in fair condition at a Columbus hospital. Junk says her toes on one foot had been chewed off when sheriff’s deputies went to the mobile home Sunday after receiving an anonymous tip.

lets put these punks in a cage with hungry rats and let them get a dose of what the baby received
I agree or do something worse to them that is the most terrrible thing. They are punks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
put them away for now and let the little one grow up and decide their punishment. let them endure a bit of punishment coming to them from the other inmates!
