Students and chaperones from St. Nick's in Struthers are in New Orleans for the week rebuilding a home destroyed by Hurricane Katrina.

They are blogging about their trip and you can follow them on vindy.com.

May God Bless them all for their charity in America's forgotten metropolitan disaster. This the first news for that city I have heard of for a long time. What a shame. Does America's media care anymore? Well at least these fine students and their chaperones do, that's for sure. Let's say prayers for their safety today and every day until their return home. Thanks due to the Vindicator for reporting this good news story. Let's have more of the same please.
