Family, friends mourn Steve McNair’s girlfriend

ORANGE PARK, Fla. (AP) — The woman who killed Steve McNair before turning the gun on herself was remembered by about 30 friends and family members in Florida.
Sahel Kazemi, 20, was laid to rest today in a private ceremony at Jacksonville Memory Gardens.
Cemetery officials prevented reporters and photographers from covering the graveside service.
Kazemi dropped out of high school and moved to Nashville, Tenn., from Florida with a boyfriend at 17. She met McNair a few months ago and the two had been dating.
Kazemi was buried in a modest brown casket.

Steve McNair's life style from being a good football player was not that of a row model for his wife & four children or anyone else. He led a young girl to do what she did not want to do. His life style was an act of contempt.
PJ, he was not much of a moral "role" model I agree. Can't mess around with an unstable 20 year old girl and expect no drama. Still tragic, the choices he made that led to this.
Lesson for all, if someone will cheat on a spouse or boy/girlfriend to be with you, they will do the same to you!!

your comments are ridiculous. this was mcnair's fault? wow that is so moronic. yes, he was wrong in cheating on his wife. but i didnt know the punishment for cheating was death. no matter what he did to this girl, it did not justify her killing me. this is HER fault. she made the choice to pull the trigger and kill him. there is no way he, or anyone else could have saw this coming.

Okay....GRKFIRE....I think that it is not I who is being ridiculous here. That girl was obviously unstable. Had Mcnair not been cheating on his wife with her, he would not have been in the situation that led to this. Simple fact, can't argue it. Had he not been involved with her, he wouldn't have been there. Can you comprehend this? I never said death was the punishment for cheating but when you choose to do these things you can expect the drama.
One time, a woman told me HER "boyfriend" was cheating on her. I laughed at her and said: "What do you expect? He's cheating on his wife of 35 years with YOU! You are NOT the first and you won't be the last GF/Mistress. "
Whatever is, IS. I happened to really like Steve on the field and off. He made a poor choice.
