Mooney's Heard commits to West Virginia

Mooney senior Braylon Heard verbally committed to play football at West Virginia University on Wednesday.

Heard, an All-Ohio defensive back, was a two-way starter for the Cardinals last season, helping them reach the Division IV regional semifinals. He will play running back for the Mountaineers.
