Beaver Township Independence Day program rescheduled

NORTH LIMA — Beaver Township will present its Independence Day program featuring the Youngstown Area Community Concert Band at 7 p.m. Thursday at Woodworth Park.

The program was originally scheduled for July 2 but was postponed because of rain.

Admission is free. Attendees are encouraged to dress comfortably and appropriately for the weather and to bring blankets or lawn chairs because seating is limited.

Woodworth Park is off Eastern Reserve Road between Market Street and Southern Blvd. Thursday’s concert is part of the township’s 2009 Concert Series. However, most concerts are presented at 7 p.m. Wednesdays through Aug. 26.
