YOUNGSTOWN — Two local men were charged with felonious assault after each was treated for gunshot wounds.
Anthony McGee, 39, of West Boulevard, Boardman, was shot three times in the legs, and Leighland Johnson, 23, of Inverness Avenue, Youngstown, was shot once in the arm. Both were taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center after being shot just before midnight Saturday on LaBelle Avenue.
McGee told police he was attacked by people he knew, but he didn’t know who shot him. Johnson told police that he was in an argument with McGee when McGee pulled a gun. The two men struggled, and McGee shot him, reports said.
