Johnson-Clifford engagement is being announced

MCDONALD — Announced by William and Elizabeth Johnson of McDonald is the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Johnson, and Scott Clifford, both of Shaker Heights. Parents of the future groom are Barry and Betty Clifford of Painesville.

Miss Johnson and Mr. Clifford graduated from Kent State University with master’s degrees in architecture. She is a designer with Osborn Engineering in Cleveland, and he is employed by URS Washington Division in Cleveland.

The couple will be married at 2 p.m. Nov. 14 at The Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Cleveland. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and for an evening reception at the Old Courthouse in Cleveland.
