2 interior decorators open Consign & Design

BOARDMAN — Two interior decorators have opened Consign & Design at 50 Boardman-Canfield Road. The store sells furniture and home accessories on consignment and also has a design center. The store will have its grand opening Tuesday, with a ribbon-cutting at 10 a.m.

The owners are Stacey Duber of Canfield, who studied interior decorating at Sheffield School in New York, and Diane Young of Poland, who studied interior decorating at Bauder Fashion College in Miami.

Former GM worker buys Brite & White Laundromat

YOUNGSTOWN — Terence Walker Sr. of Youngstown has taken over ownership of Brite & White Laundromat in Crim’s Corner Plaza, 3212 Mahoning Ave.

Walker worked at General Motors’ Lordstown complex for 12 years before taking a buyout offer last year. The business offers coin-operated washing machines and dryers. Drop-off laundry and ironing services are available. There is always an attendant on duty.
