CINCINNATI (AP) — Police in Cincinnati say a 7-year-old boy has died at his home after being shot, and it appears the shooter was an 11-year-old. The boys’ names have not been released.
Investigators say two other children and an adult were in the home at the time of the shooting Friday.
A rifle was found near the victim’s body, but police aren’t sure if that was the weapon used.
A week ago, authorities in Minford, in southern Ohio, investigated a fatal shooting in which a man said his 2-year-old son was killed by his 8-year-old brother.
Also this month, police in Jackson, in southern Ohio, said a 4-year-old boy got a shotgun from a bedroom closet and wounded his 18-year-old baby sitter because the sitter accidentally stepped on the child’s foot.

Where was this adult at?
And why are these parents not locking up their guns properly? I'm not discouraging the possession of guns (unless of course they're in the possession of criminals), but at least lock them up if you know there are children in your home!
What a terrible and unfortunate event.
Arrest the adults for having the guns available for the children. Lock up the guns!
is it my imagination or are these incidents happening far more frequently than they used to?
