YOUNGSTOWN — Work has begun to install a digital marquee sign outside the Chevrolet Centre.
It will take about two weeks to install the sign, said Eric Ryan, the center’s executive director. The work began Friday.
The free-standing sign will tout upcoming events at the center. The sign was to be installed when the facility opened in October 2005. But because of financial concerns, it was postponed. The cost of the sign is about $70,000.
The city provided $11.9 million of the $45 million needed to build the center.

what a WATE OF MONEY. Aside from the Pavlik event, they have almost nothing scheduled.
Sign won't help!
Here's an idea...Eric Ryan out and Bruce Zoldan in... to manage the center.
Better yet, make it a digital "FOR SALE BY OWNER" sign.
