Accident closes Mahoning Avenue near Belle Vista

The road between Belle Vista and Millet avenues on the city's West Side was closed after a traffic accident at the 2000 block of Mahoning Avenue at 8:35 a.m. Friday. The accident caused downed power line wires to fall onto the road after a utility pole was struck, police said. Traffic was tied up for a couple of hours while Ohio Edison crews worked to replace the pole and wires.
YOUNGSTOWN — Mahoning Avenue is closed this morning between Belle Vista and Millet avenues. A traffic accident at 8:35 a.m. today in the 2000 block of Mahoning, near the West Side post office, resulted in downed power lines wires across the roadway after a utility pole was struck, police said. Firefighters were called to the scene and barricades requested from the street department to close off the area.

Does anyone know if their were any injuries or fatalities at this accident. I'm out of town and have friends I can't reach that live near there. Thanks
Brian215 Heard this accident on the police scanner and I believe it was two brothers in a van who ran from the scene but were caught shortly after. Didn't sound like there were injuries but if I remember right, one had an outstanding warrant.
