Police report says 3-year-old ingested cocaine

Published: Thu, January 15, 2009 @ 2:56 p.m.

YOUNGSTOWN — A 3-year-old Idora Avenue girl taken to Akron Children’s Hospital Boardman facility on Market Street late Wednesday night had ingested cocaine, police said. The girl’s mother, interviewed around 10:30 p.m. at the hospital, said she had been asleep and when she woke she saw her daughter running around, more active than normal. The child told police she didn’t remember eating anything. The little girl had also ingested a penny, reports show. The mother said she does not do drugs and suggested that maybe the girl’s father had come over and “dropped the cocaine,” reports show. Police who checked court records discovered that the mother had been convicted of drug abuse marijuana last year. The case has been assigned to the juvenile division and Mahoning County Children’s Services Bureau.

Probably the quote of the year so far. These animals need to have their reproductive organs severed immediately.

I am waiting for Jay to report on this. What do you think Jay? How young is too young to do crack? Do you consider this a a normal part of Youngstown's culture? Does the mother need tested for drug use?

I HAVE CHECKED THE BOOK BUT IT'S NOT COVERED

I love it!

Some people think they should be drug tested. Well, only sane people that apply for jobs ... IE working class that pay taxes that pay for section 8 and welfare / foodstamps get tested for drugs.

What? Now you want to have the people getting a free ride you know the "minority" get drug tested? GASP!!! You'd see riots in the streets if that passed -- Just like bush, these people are untouchable and now with Obama - HAHA you ain't seen nothing yet! The best is yet to come!

With the new stimulus package coming Youngstown will really be rockin. The drug cartel will have people available to cover the demand. When the money is all partied out the crackheads will reinstitute their own stimulus plan. I predict a big year for The Valley in 2009.

JAY SEZ THAT THE CRACKHEADS CAN'T BE PUT TO WORK BECAUSE THEY WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUG TEST. YES JAY, I SEE WHERE IT IS NOT FEASIBLE TO EMPLOY THEM. SO YOU COULD SAY THAT IT IS AGAINST THE LAW TO PUT THEM TO WORK.
