Hubbard turns back Campbell

CAMPBELL — The Hubbard High girls basketball team built a 33-26 lead by the end of the third quarter en route to victory.

Cara Julian scored 13 points and Allie DeLuco finished with 10 for the Eagles (5-8).

Tashira Uceta led the Red Devils (7-3) with nine points.

Salem 68, Niles 12

SALEM — The Quakers (8-1) held the Red Dragons (0-12) to two points in the first quarter, one in the second and three in the third rolling to a commanding 54-6 lead in the All American Conference Red Tier opener.

Amy Scullion and Brittany Ritchie scored 15 and 14 points respectively for the Quakers. Danielle Perry and Scullion pulled down five rebounds apiece.

Katie Hitchings led Niles with three points. Aliesha Sharpe grabbed four rebounds.

West Branch 64, Poland 40

BELOIT — West Branch (6-2) jumped out to an early lead then coasted past Poland.

Lacey Sanor tossed in 13 points and Katie Sellaroli added 12 for the Warriors.

Lauren Tadla led Poland (6-5) with 13 points and 12 rebounds. The Bulldogs outrebounded the Warriors 35-27.
