PADDLING HISTORY Previous Ohio action

1985: Bill passed allowing local school districts to ban paddling
1989: Bill passed requiring districts to report how many children were paddled and how many times they were paddled.
1993: Bill passed prohibiting spanking and other forms of physical discipline unless a school board follows several procedures before voting to allow it. Parents in those districts may refuse to have their children paddled.

NO WONDER THERE IS NO DICIPLINE IN SCHOOLS
They should bring paddling back. I bet a lottttt of kids would have sore, red rear ends right about now.
