BOARDMAN — Township police are searching for two men who robbed a woman at gunpoint after offering to shovel her driveway.
Police responded to a call at 10:42 a.m. today that a 55-year-old woman was forced to the ground and had her wrists restrained as two men entered her home.
According to police, two men wearing ski masks knocked on the front door of a Ranier Trail home asking the homeowner if she wanted her driveway shoveled. After she declined, the men forcibly entered the home, brandishing a black handgun.
The men stole the victim’s car keys and cell phone and then left in her vehicle, police said.

The boldness of the subculture is truly amazing .
my sentiments exactly paulb
If she had a gun, would she have it in her hand every time she answered the door?
Political correctness deems that you comply with the wishes of the subculture . They fear armed victims more than the law . When they do get caught for a robbery such as this their penalties are not severe and they are usually released in a short period of time .
...and once they are released, they need to commit even more crimes to pay-off their debts built up from defending their last crimes.
Once again: KILL 'EM ALL & LET GOD SORT THEM OUT!!!
~~~ People should NOT answer the door; if they do, they should be armed.
Does anyone have a description? Were the two just walking through the neighborhood? Since it does not say what block this was in - this could be a fairly busy street and someone should have seen some activity.
they wanted to start the new year off with new assets...they now have new cell phone and a car to drive...
Or better yet use the cell phone to track them down. Some cell phones can be used as tracking devices so I do not see how the police could not do this. I myself do not believe in guns, but tazers work wonders too.
Why do you think there is no description of the individuals? could it be they don't want to offend criminals. This paper is a joke, where are the facts, most of the crime in Boardman has a city address.
