LISBON —Tyrell Henry had 16 points, three rebounds, six steals and five assists for East. Norman Johnson added 16 points, two rebounds, four steals and six assists while Justin Brown had 16 points, six rebounds, two steals and four blocks for East, which outscored Beaver Local 27-14 in the second quarter to take a commanding 55-32 halftime lead. Martez Penn added 11 points and eight rebounds and Trumane Jenkins had 10 points, seven rebounds, four steals and four assists for the Panthers (2-2). Travis Lynch led Beaver Local (0-3) with 23 points, nine rebounds, six steals and two assists and Zack Murray had 16 points and nine rebounds.

Chaney 83, Niles 79

NILES — Dom Brown and Anthony Cornwell each scored 15 points to spark Chaney, which managed to survive Niles’ 33-21 rally in the final quarter. Brown also had 10 rebounds and five assists. Ken Strong added 14 points and Tyrell Howell 13 to aid the Cowboys (2-2), which had a 62-46 advantage after three periods. Carlos Colon added nine points for Chaney, Chuck Jennings three steals. Ryan Frantz plugged 24 points, including four 3-point goals, to spur Niles. while Saul Vaugn chipped in with 17 points and five steals, David Allen 13 points and Cory Floyd 11.

Canfield 77, Hickory 46

CANFIELD — Mike Podolsky had 22 points, including three 3-point goals, and eight assists to key a well-balanced attack for Canfield (2-1). Gene Wollet added 17 points with three 3-point goals while Justin Vrabel added 15 points and Joe Hoelzel 13 with nine rebounds to reinforce the Cardinals. Matt Durisko had 13 points and seven rebounds to lead Hickory (1-2), while Nick Bartolomeo added nine points.

Salem 63, Champion 44

CHAMPION — Jake Madison scored 17 points and Trent Kenrigh 13 to spark Salem (3-0), while Ryan Wolfgang added nine points. Dan Gelet had 12 points and Ian Barnes 10 to pace Champion (1-2). Ross Farmer chipped in with nine points.

Hubbard 88, LaBrae 81

HUBBARD — Kurtis Drummond and Mike Lopuchovsky had 23 and 22 points, respectively, for the Eagles. Mike Morris had 23 points for LaBrae, which made 26 of 42 free throws and scored 33 points in the fourth quarter.

Struthers 75, Girard 38

STRUTHERS — Nate Jacubec had 20 points for Struthers, which took a 28-8 first-quarter lead. A.J. Weibel’s 15 points paced Girard.

BROOKFIELD — Anthony Yuberti scored 16 points with five assists for Brookfield (2-0). Ryan Shugarts had 12 points and Jimmy Holly 11 for the Warriors (2-0).

COLUMBIANA — Ron Rogers scored 20 points to lead the Tigers, who outscored the Rebels 20-7 in the fourth quarter. Jim Zubick scored 12 points and Tim Norris 11. For the Rebels (2-2, 1-1 Inter Tri-County Tier One), Carter Hill scored nine points and made four assists. Brian Orr and Tristan Reynolds each scored eight points.

East Palestine 45, Lisbon 40

LISBON — Ben Gysin scored 17 points with eight rebounds and Austin Cope 13 points with six assists to lead the Bulldogs (4-0, 2-0 ITCL Tier One). For the Blue Devils, Todd Padurean scored 17 points and made four assists while William Bowyer had 16 points and six rebounds. Matt Metzgar scored seven points and pulled down 11 rebounds.

South Range 73, United 47

HANOVERTON — Peter Dink scored 19 points and Andy Lacefield 18 to spearhead a strong offensive showing by South Range. Brandon Pluchinsky added 14 points and Kyle Server 12 to support the Raiders. Ryan Sarchet had 10 points for United (0-4, 0-2 ITCL), while Zach Taylor added eight points and four rebounds and Matt Gatchel four rebounds.

Columbiana 82, Mineral Ridge 68

MINERAL RIDGE — Mineral Ridge pulled within 54-52 late in the third quarter before Columbiana (1-2) sank 10 of 12 free throws in the fourth period. Columbiana’s Tyler Denmeade had a game-high 31 points with 11 each scored in the first and fourth quarters. Senior Zach Kiger had 23 points for Mineral Ridge (1-2).

Wellsville 64, Lowellville 55

LOWELLVILLE — Mike Johnstown scored 14 points to lead Wellsville, which led 49-34 after three quarters before the Rockets closed the gap in the fourth. Jeremy Carter had 12 points, Deshon Pullie 11 and Nunzio Lombardozzi 10 in the ITCL Tier Two game. Anthony Alfano scored 16 of his 18 points in the second half as Lowellville (2-2, 1-1) cut the deficit to five with four minutes remaining.

Sebring 49, Western Reserve 37

BERLIN CENTER — After trailing 26-19 at halftime, the Trojans dominated the second half, outscoring the Blue Devils 22-4 in the fourth quarter. The Devils committed 11 of their 17 turnovers in the fourth quarter. Aaron Vankirk led the Trojans with 14 points while Seamus Johnson had 11. For the Blue Devils (1-3, 0-2 ITCL Tier Two), Jake Barker scored 14 points while Shane Ewing had nine points and 10 rebounds.

Southern 78, Jackson-Milton 66

NORTH JACKSON — Jake Boyle fired in 37 points and Eric Baker 26 to pace Southern (4-0, 2-0 ITCL Tier 2). Boyle also had eight rebounds while Gabe Martins added 10 points. Bobby Schellbach had 20 points an 10 rebounds to lead Jackson-Milton (0-4, 0-1), while Jake Carlile added 16 points amd Zach Nagy nine.

Lordstown 74, Heartland Christian 63

COLUMBIANA — Steven Cribley scored 21 points to lead four Lordstown players in double figures. Mike Shaffer scored 14 points and Chris Polivka and Bill Wright each added 12 points for the Red Devils (3-0), which outscored Heartland 21-12 to take a 33-25 halftime lead. Jake Farran scored 22 points, Michael Stearns had 17 and Durand Foutz 12 for Heartland (0-3).
