November good month for local home sales

November was a good month for the local housing market.

Home sales were up last month in Trumbull and Columbiana counties and stable in Mahoning County.

Mahoning County had 150 home sales last month, compared with 153 in November 2008, according to figures released today by the Youngstown Columbiana Association of Realtors.

In Trumbull County, home sales rose to 139 last month, up from 121 in November 2008.

Columbiana County recorded 56 home sales last month, up from 48 in November 2008.
