Rick and Rebecca Harpster of Chicago announce the birth of their first child, a daughter,

• Rick and Rebecca Harpster of Chicago announce the birth of their first child, a daughter, Jillian Grace Harpster, on Aug. 16. The infant was born at Northwestern University Hospital in Chicago. The grandparents are Jim and Sharon Harpster of Canfield and Pat and Kathy Laper of Rochester Hills, Mich. Great-grandparents are Margaret Granchi of Canton, Bill and Edith Harpster of Novi, Mich., and Florian Laper of Wisconsin.

• Lou and Michelle Mihin Marino of Centerville, Va., are announcing the birth of their second child, a son, Vincent John, who was born Aug. 6 in Centerville. He has a brother, Louie. Vincent is the grandson of Lou and Geri Marino. He is the great-grandson of Katherine Mihin. All are from Coitsville Township.
