Customers without cellular service vent on AT&T

Published: Mon, August 24, 2009 @ 3:25 p.m.

BOARDMAN — Some township residents expressed their displeasure with a cellular phone provider after spending the weekend without service.

A malfunctioning service tower on Market Street has caused headaches for AT&T subscribers. Some of those customers visited the AT&T store on U.S. Route 224 to voice their concerns.

“I’m really upset,” said Rose Cruz-Bonilla. “You pay so much money for cell phones that you just want them to be reliable.”

It is unclear how or when the service was interrupted. Customer service representatives for AT&T on Monday said there is no indication of a malfunctioning tower anywhere in Ohio.

Call them today and complain and they will offer you prorated service. Keep on them and you can get 16-20 bucks back for the inconvenience.

@janeyblue the thing is that ignorant self-centered and uneducated United States citizens forget is that "AMERICAN" does not refer to only U.S. citizens. Canadians are "American", Mexicans are "American" because they all live in "NORTH AMERICA" just like you. In most countries around the world, United States citizen are not called "AMERICANS" they are referred to by the country you live in.... for example spanish speaking countries call us "estadounidenses" (citizens of the united states). Stupid Ass.

WOW Dexy!! The anger and hatred ooze from your post. I've travelled internationally for business for 29 years now and I've been to every country in Europe, every continent except Antarctica and a total of over 50 different countries worldwide. I hate to disappoint you, but the term "American" is very commonly used by foreign nationals to describe us. I've never heard a Canadian or a Mexican referred to as an American. We shouldn't have to Press 1 for the language our country is based on...... English. You should maybe consider pressing "2" for El Stupid Asso... Maybe you can go back to Taco Bell and learn some more fun spanish facts.

Thank you Just sayin! I too have traveled Europe (not as much as you) but have been warmly welcomed wherever I go.
To press 1 for English is just a slap in the face!
And dear Dex...Go back to where you came from! Probably a slimy rock under a bridge! BTW I AM educated 3 degrees! And you? Grade school drop out! I would suggest you begin first grade again! You know...the books with really BIG letters!
Again Thank you to Just sayin! At least someone gets the point!
