Daughtry coming to Covelli Centre

YOUNGSTOWN — Daughtry will come to Covelli Centre on Nov. 4 at 7:30 p.m. for a concert that will also feature opening acts Theory of a Deadman and Cavo.

Tickets range from $29.50 to $39.50 and go on sale at noon Saturday at Ticketmaster.com; Covelli Centre retail locations, including Giant Eagle and Macy’s, and the arena box office; and by phone at (866) 448-7849.

The concert is part of Daughtry’s 36-date U.S. arena tour this fall to support the act’s new album, “Leave This Town.”

The album, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, has sold more than a half million copies in five weeks. Its first single, “No Surprise,” hit No. 1 on the adult contemporary chart this week. It is the band’s fourth No. 1 hit.

The tour is the first arena tour for the band.

“We dreamed about how it would feel playing these songs to packed arenas, and we’re excited to get our chance,” said Chris Daughtry in a press release.

“Leave This Town” is Daughtry’s first album to debut at the top of the Billboard 200 and its second consecutive No. 1 album, selling 269,299 copies in its first week of release.
