House and ammunition explode on Coit Road

POLAND — Firefighters from several jurisdictions, including Poland Township, are on the scene of a house explosion, in the 1600 block of Coit Road. Live ammunition is exploding at the scene and the area has been closed to traffic. Firefighters said no one was injured and no one has been evacuated. It's near Knoll Run Golf Course. One firefighter said it's not uncommon for people in the area to have guns and ammo, as many are hunters.
