Scramble to benefit Special Olympics

GROVE CITY, Pa. — Midwestern Intermediate Unit IV’s Labor and Management Committee will host a golf scramble June 27 as a fundraiser for the Special Olympics of Butler, Lawrence and Mercer counties.

The outing will begin at 12:30 p.m. at Green Meadows Golf Course, 193 Green Meadows Lane, Volant, Pa., and be followed by a dinner sponsored by the Family Tradition Restaurant.

Cash prizes will be awarded. There will also be raffles and a Chinese auction.

Golfers must preregister and prepay $60 per person or $240 per foursome. The cost for spectators to attend the dinner and participate in the raffles and auction is $15, prepaid.
