Sale to benefit family in need

LOWELLVILLE — The children of Jerry and Helen Wildes, 5324 Kennedy Road, have planned a garage sale for May 2 and 3 at their home as a benefit for Darlene Degenaro, who suffers from colon cancer and has recently undergone surgery, and for her husband, Steve, who has lost his job due to work stoppage and downsizing. The couple have to pay their own hospitalization.

Anyone doing spring cleaning and wishing to donate unwanted items for the sale may call (330) 501-8099 or (320) 536-8945 and items will be picked up. Donations can also be made directly to the Degenaro family.
