YOUNGSTOWN — A manager at Coca Cola Bottling on East Indianola Avenue told police that someone used 32 counterfeit $1 bills in a Coke vending machine at Splash and Shine Car Wash on North State Street in Girard. The phony bills were taken by police on Tuesday and given to detectives who would in turn contact Girard police.

Only in this Area would we see counterfeit one-dollar bills! Everywhere else in this country their passing fifties and hundreds. What is next, a re-birth of the "Free Coffee" wooden nickels from the old Hub Restaurant jamming chicklit machines?
