The Regional Chamber announced key changes among its executive staff members. Kimberly Gonda is the vice president of marketing & business services. Walter Good is vice president of economic development, retention & expansion, and Helen Paes is vice president of public relations and external alliances.
Gonda had been vice president of marketing & communications. She will oversee all programs, membership and advertising sales, member services and Leadership Mahoning Valley. She will retain marketing duties. The Boardman resident earned a bachelor’s degree in professional writing and communications and a master’s degree in business administration from Youngstown State University.
Good had been interim executive director of the organization’s economic development department. The Boardman resident has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Youngstown State University.
Paes had been vice president of business services. She will focus her efforts on establishing media relations at the local, regional and national levels, and expanding the chamber’s area business councils. She has a bachelor’s degree in communications from Ohio University.
Aim NationaLease in Girard promoted Beverly Lyda of Boardman from accounts receivable collector to senior collector. She received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Youngstown State University.
InfoCision Management Corp. promoted Lindsey Davidson of Burghill to call center supervisor for the volunteer recruitment division at InfoCision’s Boardman location. Davidson will take a more active role in managing call-center programs, training program supervisors and maintaining the general functions of the center. Also, Michelle Fleming of Youngstown has been hired as a bilingual program supervisor for the media division at InfoCision’s Youngstown location. Fleming will be responsible for running telephone marketing programs.
Mike Kratofil has been named the chief operating officer for MS Consultants. He has been with the company for 22 years, having been hired as an intern during his senior year at Youngstown State University. He has relocated to the firm’s Columbus office.
Tiffany Bell has joined First National Bank as communications manager. She had been marketing director for the Eastwood Mall. She earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from John Carroll University.
Innis Maggiore has promoted two Youngstown-area employees to strengthen its public relations practice. Jack Wollitz, formerly general manager of Innis Maggiore’s Youngstown office, becomes the agency’s director of public relations. Jim Cyphert has been named senior account supervisor in public relations. He previously was an account supervisor. Wollitz and Cyphert will work out of Innis Maggiore’s Canton office.
Dr. Brian Shannon recently returned to Sharon Regional Health System after completing a fellowship in Spine Surgery at Harvard’s Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Dr. Shannon specializes in spine surgery. Dr. Shannon previously completed a fellowship in hip and knee replacement at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., and an orthopedic surgery residency at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, D.C. Dr. Shannon’s undergraduate degree is from the University of Notre Dame, where he also lettered in football for two years. Dr. Shannon is affiliated with Drs. Ernest Swanson and Keith Lustig at The Orthopaedic Center of Western Pennsylvania in Hermitage.
