WHAT’S IN THE KITTY? Halloween candy containers were made in abundance in Germany during the 1920s and ’30s. They came in every kind of scary shape and were sold across the United States. This frightening black cat, whose head comes off so his body can store candy, sold for $403 last spring at Morphy Auctions in Denver, Pa.
