Historical society names banquet speaker

HUBBARD — William Lawson, executive director of Mahoning Valley Historical Society, will be the featured speaker at a banquet planned by the society for 6 p.m. Nov. 13 at The Gentry, 116 E. Liberty St.

Lawson will focus on the history, renovation and future use of the Harry Burt/Ross Radio Building in downtown Youngstown, recently acquired by the society.

The cost for the evening is $15, and reservations are to be made by mailing a check, payable to the society, to 828 School St., Hubbard, OH 44425, by Nov. 8. Membership dues of $10 are also payable. The public is welcome.
