Poland girls, South Range's Witmer win state golf titles

The Poland High girls golf team won team title on Saturday and South Range senior Ariel Witmer claimed the individual crown in the first year of Div. II state competition at Ohio State University.

The Bulldogs, in their first year of state competition regardless of division, won by one stroke. Witmer, a three-time state qualifier, shot 1-under par and was the only player to finish in the red.
