Columbiana GOP chairman blasts Obama campaign
TweetColumbiana County Republican Chairman David Johnson is warning John McCain supporters that the Barack Obama campaign and “radical groups” that support him “are doing their level best to steal this election.”
In a letter sent primarily to Columbiana County Republicans, Johnson strongly criticized the Democratic presidential nominee’s campaign and the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), a voter outreach group.
They are “signing up folks from homeless shelters, from inner city projects, from bars and from virtually anywhere else they can find a willing soul to register and to vote,” Johnson wrote of Obama’s campaign and ACORN.
Alex Goepfert, an Ohio Democratic Party spokesman, criticized Johnson for the letter.
“The clear appearance here is that of a cynical attempt to play upon old divisions in the hopes of distracting voters from the real issues in the election,” he said.
It’s the latest volley between the two major political party candidates about race and ACORN.
Johnson said today that he stands by what he wrote in the letter.
Johnson also said he strongly objected to any implication that he’s a racist because he wrote about “inner city projects.”

There is a Supreme Court decision against "fighting words" that incite violence, which is where the republican party is headed with their increasingly angry mob shouting obviously false and malicious statements about an honorable candidate. When pressed about a decision she didn't agree with, perhaps Palin should have said Chaplinsky v. New Hampshire? Then she could really do some work.
Obama a Christian? What Church do you know supports Abortion and Infacide? In fact call a couple of pastors and ask how Christians ought to feel about Abortion.
Oh I forgot 20 years listening to the likes of Rev Jeremiah Wright you can call your self a Christian and support Abortion.
And there is a lot of shady people surrounding the "Young Messiah" ACORN he has been around them since collage in Chicago time for people to wake up smell the coffee and face the facts o NObama.

The full reach of the corruption and scandal may never be known but those who created it must not be rewarded. The architects, primarily left-wing Democrats, created laws, took donations, looked the other way and instead were too busy overse eing donations to their own presidential campaigns and robbing main street blind. Now these same left-wing Democrats blame everyone else and get up on their high horses and say, “we are here to save you” from the crises they created.
Yes, Mr. Obama knows a great deal about the mess. He is a central figure in the left-wing ACORN exploitation of financial institutions and pressuring them to make high risk loans. The very same left-wing ACORN was guilty of voter fraud in the last presidential election. Now these same Democrats want to do another high risk “community service,” social engineering experiment. They want to elect a high-risk, low experience, socialist one of the same community organizers that created the mess to be our next president. We cannot experiment with the office of president and learn as we go. Barack Obama is not qualified and has no history of success as a leader in government or business.
Statement On Obama Campaign’s Letter To Justice Department On Voter Fraud

ARLINGTON, VA — Today, McCain-Palin 2008 Spokesman Ben Porritt issued the following statement in response to the Obama campaign’s letter to Attorney General Michael Mukasey:
“After a week of shifting stories and clumsy corrections regarding Barack Obama’s connections to ACORN, the Obama campaign resorted to their now-customary heavy handed tactic of attempting to criminalize political discourse. Today’s outrageous letter to Attorney General Mukasey and Special Prosecutor Dannehy at the Justice Department asking for a special prosecutor to investigate Senator McCain and Governor Palin’s public statements about ACORN’s record of fraudulent voter registrations (including in this week’s Presidential debate) is absurd. It is a typical time-worn Washington attempt to criminalize political differences. For someone who promises ‘change,’ it is certainly only more of the same.
“The letter’s request that the Department of Justice investigate ‘recent partisan Republican activities throughout the country’ is almost a parody of the Obama campaign’s attempt to intimidate their political opponents. In case Sen. Obama’s lawyer did not notice, we are in the midst of a political campaign, not a coronation, and the alleged criminal activity he calls ‘recent partisan Republican activities’ are what the rest of us call campaign speeches and debates. All of this is unfortunately reminiscent of the Obama campaign’s recent creation of a ‘truth squad’ of Missouri prosecutors and sheriffs to ‘target’ people who criticize Sen. Obama. Rest assured that, despite these threats, the McCain-Palin campaign will continue to address the serious issue of voter registration fraud by ACORN and other partisan groups, and compliance by states with the Help America Vote Act’s requirement of matching new voter registrations with state data bases to prevent voter fraud.”

And lets just see the full dept of ACORN and Obama. After all it was his grand start as a community organizer right? And he slipped them over 800,000 this past year right? So I would say that is a current 20 year relationship still going on? ACORN is not only involved in voter registration fraud. Look into there role in the the housing and loan department. The need to be looked into FBI under the RICO Act and shut down then go after all their little subsidiary's. Most have been milking money, some of your Tax money.
