Most Mill Creek Park roads closed Sunday morning

YOUNGSTOWN — Most Mill Creek MetroParks drives between Canfield Road and Mahoning Avenue will be closed between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Sunday to accommodate hundreds of runners participating in the 34th Annual Peace Race. The sole exceptions will be East Glacier and Robinson Hill Drives, off Glenwood Avenue between High St. and Old Furnace Road.

Closed for the duration of the race will be: Old Mill Drive, East Park Drive, West Cohasset Drive, West Park Drive, and West Glacier Drive.

Visitors to Fellows Riverside Gardens must enter off Mahoning Avenue at McKinley Avenue.

Birch Hill Cabin will be accessible only from McCollum Road at Wilkinson during the race. Questions may be referred to the MetroParks Recreation Department at (330)740-7126 or (330)740-7106.
