COLUMBUS — The first in a series of presidential debates boosted voters’ confidence in Democratic nominee Barack Obama, according to a new three-state poll.
Obama gained percentage points in all three so-called Swing States (Ohio, Florida and Pennsylvania) over Republican John McCain following the Friday event.

Leave it to the Vindicator to post a poll from a Democratic pollster that has never given McCain a lead in Ohio all year. Quinnipiac was one of the worst pollsters in 2004 and was horrific during the Dem-GOP Primaries this past year.
Why not post the weekly state polls from Rasmussen, that shows McCain still up ever so slightly in OH, tied in FL, and within striking distance in CO and VA.
