Published: Wed, November 19, 2008 @ 3:10 p.m.

AUSTINTOWN — A township man accused of pulling a handgun at a ball game pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated menacing, a first degree misdemeanor.

Dallas Lough, 64, formerly of Westchester Drive, appeared before Judge David D’Apolito in Mahoning County Area Court Wednesday afternoon.

He told Judge D’Apolito that he decided to waive his right to a jury trial, after meeting with his attorney, David A. Mascio,

Lough was accused of pulling a handgun on a 36-year-old Struthers baseball coach following a verbal confrontation during a June 10 game at Koch’s Baseball Complex on North Raccoon Road.

Very feisty for a being sixty four year old. Pulling a gun at a ball game shows an indication of some serious mental issues. I hope for his sake that he seeks treatment.

Lough was found to have a valid concealed-carry permit for the gun in question.
