Two masked men rob store in Warren

WARREN — Police said two masked men robbed the Warren Food Mart on 949 W. Market St. on Monday afternoon. When one approached the counter demanding money, the store employee hit him with a chair. The robber then fired a shot, hitting the employee in the hand.

The robbers took merchandise and cash from the register, then fled. Police captured one, a juvenile, at Austin Avenue and Oak Street. The injured employee was treated at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
